So I’ve enabled Nightbot, added it to my stream moderators, added the Discord bot to my server, and filled in the settings.
My question is how do members sync the subscriber role on Discord? Does it work automatically, is there a link?
Nightbot only syncs regulars and moderators. You have to set up subscriber role sync under “Integrations” in your Discord server’s settings.
I’m not partnered so I can’t use integrations. The reason I ask is because Nightbot does have a setting for a subscriber role. If it doesn’t work or is deprecated it should be removed to avoid confusion.
Nightbot’s Discord integration has the option for setting the subscriber role only for the purpose of userlevel checking, ie. for commands and spam filters.
