So here is my issue if anyone can help me with it…
Whilst in a youtube live stream I blocked nightbot in the live stream chat.
However when I go into my blocked list on YouTube there is no sign of the blocked nightbot account.
In any live stream using nightbot I am unable to see the messages.
I have added nightbot as a moderator and the commands are being shown and working but they are not visible to me.
Is there anyway of unblocking nightbot?
It sounds like you may have hidden or blocked Nightbot in YouTube chat, which is why its messages are invisible to you even though commands still work and are visible to others.
Here are a few things you can try to unblock Nightbot:

Check your YouTube “Hidden users” list
- Go to https://studio.youtube.com/
- Click Settings → Community
- Look under Hidden users and remove Nightbot if it’s listed

Check your Google Account’s blocked users
- Go to https://myaccount.google.com/blocklist
- See if Nightbot is listed there, and unblock it if so

Use an incognito window or a different Google account to confirm whether Nightbot messages appear there
If Nightbot still doesn’t show up for you, even after un-hiding/unblocking, it might be an issue on YouTube’s side. In that case, contacting YouTube Support for help would be the best next step.

I have tried Hidden users but nothing showing in there.
I have checked the blocklist on google and nothing showing in there either.
I contacted YouTube support but Chocolate Teapot sprang to mind..
Do you have the link for Nightbot that I can try YT support again.

If you’ve checked those places and they’re not showing Nighbot then you should probably see Nightbot’s replies in your chat. Maybe try setting up Nightbot again and going live for 5 minutes, and see if it is replying? You can usually use a default command like !commands to check replies.
