Posting a message in chat without Nightbot Icon

Can you have a post a message showing user name without showing Nightbot command than show user’s message?

I understand some apps have that feature, but it’s an upgrade with a charge.

A simple answer would help … Yes/No.

If yes … How?

Hiya, I’m sorry but I don’t understand your question.

When putting a message in a chat using Nightbot, it shows the Nightbot Icon and command used, then the user’s message. Can you use a Nightbot command without having the icon and command shown but the user’s message? For example if I wanted to send a message … “Go to TV”, I would make a Nightbot command !TV … In the chat screen I would see: Nightbot Icon !TV then my message User Name “Go to TV”. Is there a way not to show the Nightbot Icon !TV message on chat screen.

Nightbot Icon: !TV
User Name: Go to TV

Instead just show:

User Name: Go to TV

@pongsr from what I understand, you would be posting through nightbot and not with your username?

No, I would like to post with my user name in chat, but not show nightbot user name / icon.

Thanks for the interest in help, but I I’ll use some other app.

Thanks again.

A user is required on all messages when a message is sent. There is no way to exclude Nightbot on a command that gets a response from Nightbot.

Hello Aaron,

Thanks for the answer.

Regards,
Philip
