One of my friend did something, so whenever someone says hi, some inappropriate words comes to my subscribers on chat. I don’t really know what he did, but I am sure that he won’t be removing it even I ask him. So I want a premanent solution to this.
It sounds like your friend may have added a custom command or timer to your Nightbot setup that triggers when someone says “hi,” and it’s sending inappropriate messages. Unfortunately, if they still have access to your Nightbot account or are a moderator in your chat, they can continue making changes even if you remove the current command.
To fully lock things down, here’s what we recommend:
- Change your account password (especially if it’s shared).
- Deauthorize any shared access by going to the Nightbot security page and revoking any connected third-party apps.
- Check your custom commands and timers on the Nightbot dashboard and delete anything suspicious.
- Remove any managers you might have added here.
- Remove any chat moderators that may be doing malicious things, like your friends.
