@ not being removed

I’ve been using the !so @username format with this command for almost 2 years, both as a streamer and a moderator. Normally the return from nightbot omits the ampersand (@) so the URL is accurate… but recently, it’s returning it with the ampersand. so instead of Twitch it’s posting Twitch which is inaccurate.

Any insight onto why this is? the command text looks just like it should… If you haven’t yet, please go show all the loves and support for a wonderful streamer Twitch

Hey @thekarmikbob!

I recommend using $(touser) in your case instead of $(1), it’ll remove the at sign (@) by default.

@ — at (sign)
& — ampersand
