I’ve tried the suggested fixes of clearing cookies, temporary files, disabling virus checker, turned off all other Chrome plug ins but this extension still won’t show up. Is there anything else left to try?

Well, Never mind. I also had trouble with twitch freezing so rebooted router, ipconfig /flushdns. And now it it works. Go figure. Good day.
Sometimes our CDN can have small outages, which can cause the add-on to break for a bit (but never for everyone). Usually clearing your cookies/cache and/or flushing DNS (to get a new CDN edge) seems to work.
