So I started streaming and I just have one friend who loves to be an asshole. Every time I stream he comes in and starts spamming, but NightBot doesn’t seem to care. He’ll post something along the lines of “Exciting gameplay PogChamp”, then do “Exciting gameplay PogChamp .” Notice the extra period at the end. I tested this myself, and even with the lowest repetition setting (20%), NightBot doesn’t seem to be stopping repetitions.
Nightbot repetition protection isn’t for people spamming the same message multiple times, its repetition of things in a single message.
Nightbot doesn’t have any sort of protection to stop what your friend does, it doesn’t keep track of people’s previous messages when it looks at a message.
