Nightbot not working

Hello I am a mod for my friends twitch stream and nightbot was working correctly but after he changed his name on twitch nightbot has stopped working completely. We have tried unignore, part and remod nightbot but will still not function. We can’t pull up any commands or create any. Nightbot also does not show in the stream. Any assistance will be helpful

Twitch Name Change Complication

Hello there I am experiencing a issue. You see I used the name change feature on Twitch that was recently added that changes your channel name essentially deleting your old one and making a new one. The result of that means all the things my Nightbot used to do no longer works on my channel. I was wondering if there was a way to resolve this without having to start from scratch? My Nightbot used to work flawlessly until I change my twitch name.

If you changed your Twitch username you must logout of the control panel and login again. Then, part and rejoin the bot to your chat. This will update your name in our systems.
