New UI: Unable to read commands

Hello everyone!
We have been experiencing a lot of issues with the new UI and would like to bring them to your attention.

  1. Performance if the biggest issue so far. The old UI worked much faster. The new UI takes much longer to update and load the Command page (have have over 200 custom commands). Additionally, the search function on the Commands tab is also extremely slow and laggy. When you start typing in the search window, it does not show you the text you are typing for several seconds. Essentially, we have to “blind type” all keywords.

  2. All command responses are now truncated and there is no way for our moderators to find our what the full response is. Please make the full response visible.

Is there any way to switch back to the old UI? The new UI is unfortunately unusable for our scenario with over 200 active custom commands on the channel.

Thanks for the feedback. We aren’t allowing folks to switch back any longer, but we are still working on iterating and improving the new UI. We had the new UI in beta for over a month but only now that we’ve forced folks to use it are we now getting actionable feedback

We just rolled out a fix for the truncated responses, and I was able to reproduce the performance issues on that page. I’ve logged this on our internal issue tracker and we’ll hopefully have some improvements for that soon™

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.
I can confirm that command messages are not truncated anymore. However, the right portion of the command message is not displayed on mobile (see screenshot).

Thanks for the screenshot. We are still working on some improvements to tables to make them more mobile friendly. We hope to have those improvements completed soon.

Following up here, we did ship some performance improvements to tables which we hope will address the immediate usability issues. There’s still some room for improvement though, and we have more changes planned.
