Need help getting a GIF emote approved

Earlier I tried to upload an animated GIF emote and it was rejected with the reasoning:

“Emote is poorly trimmed. Clean up the edges of the emote.”

This is the gif viewed in chat: https://i.gyazo.com/9b9a57a90af13366cbfbdd85d8677589.gif

Obviously the edges aren’t perfect, but I think it’s pretty clean for a moving object without a green screen to chroma the object out.

As you can see in chat preview, it does’t affect the quality of the gif as it appears as a glow to help it stand out in white and dark mode.

Any tips on how I can clean this up better to get it approved?

Thanks!

I think the problem is just that there’s a lot of white around the emote. Generally we like to see all the white trimmed off completely. Additionally GIFs have limited color space per frame, so it is hard to get good quality out of a glow.
