They work if you type them in chat, but they do not appear when you click the smiley face that opens the emote menu

If you just added them, wait for a bit, and check later, it takes time for them to propagate.

Hm! Interesting! That pretty much answers my question. I had some people saying it was not showing up for them. I’m assuming it has something to do with their settings then?
