You answered your question yourself: Twitch’s recent CSS changes broke a lot of BetterTTV features. NightDev already pushed an update to fix most issues, so you just need to make sure the extension is up to date. That said, if you’re using Firefox, the update might take a bit longer to come as they have a manual review system.
