LoL Elo command doesn't work with Russian region

Hello,
Today found out a problem that when i try to use next command:
$(leagueoflegends summoner_name region)
with region RU or RU1 response saying that there is no such server, as riot website says this should be correct names for Russian LOL server, since i tryed EUNE and EUN1 and they both worked correctly

Any ideas guys?

The region for Russia is ru, and it should work. What is the exact code you tried?
