It plays well, other than the fact it plays the same few songs over and over. However, I can’t get Now Playing working in this case because it only works if you download the nightbot app but i have nightbot TV as a browser source so I have no clue on how to get that working.
The only way to get the browser source to have the now playing is to have the Desktop Application. The now playing will then get written to the Documents folder which you can use as text file source in OBS. Overall this will perform better if you stream your audio verses running media player in a OBS browser source.
So I have to use the desktop app? Damn…
I haven’t used the app for a few years now but it worked well when I did.
it’s not that the app is bad. It’s just that i want to stream audio without hearing it and I don’t want Voicemeeter.
To be honest, that would be a pretty dangerous thing to do. People often choose troll songs to play, e.g. what appears to be a normal song but then changes 1/2 way through to have some guy screaming the N word and racial abuse.
I would not recommend putting ANYTHING on your stream without hearing what is playing 
But if I really wanted to do it anyway, is there a method to showing now playing without using the app?
