The new version of nightbot doesnt work with music properly. When i put a playlist in and auto dj, If a song from youtube is blocked due to age restriction or just isnt available, the nightbot app just sort of stops. The old version automatically skipped the bad link and moved on to the next song in the playlist.
It definitely should automatically skip. Are you able to provide some example videos which fail to skip?
it wont let me link a few that are having issues but ‘‘10 Years - Wasteland’’ is one of them, ‘’ UNK WALK IT OUT VIDEO’’ is another, ‘’ Trick Daddy - Sugar (Gimme Some) (Ft. CeeLo Green & Lil’ Kim)‘’ is another one, and another few examples are eminem songs which require age verification. 10 years i think blocks it cuz it has suicidal subjects or something was the error? anyways, im fine with them not playing, it just doesnt skip automatically to the next song. If needed i can clip a vod of this issue and upload it to youtube.
Can you share a video that shows this behavior happening? We are not able to reproduce it locally.
Yeah i had to go back through past vods and find an instance of it happening. Took me a long time, Here is a small snippet of an example of it happening live. Sometimes i have my music down but the stream can hear it, i occasionally reach over and turn the music volume up for my self and sometimes when i do its just silence cuz it doesnt skip some songs that dont work, So that might mean my stream was mostly silence for 15 minutes or maybe even hours and i didnt know cuz i dont have my own audio on all the time lol. -NOTE- it wont let me share a video link here. i cant post twitch clip or youtube, It just says i cant post links.
