How do I make the change the transparency of the chat window?

Im wanting to make the chat window not be see through at all. Im guessing there has to be a way to change this, but I cant figure it out.

Any help is appreciated.

I think I got it. Just a few more minutes on Google…

Not sure its the only way, or correct way, but for anyone else wondering, here you go.

Go into properties for you OBS Chat in OBS. Click the CSS tab, change the a in rgba to a 1. Done.

Im using a grey with this “background-color: rgba(128, 128, 128, 1);”

another way would be to use the clear/no background OBS chat and then edit a transparent background in GIMP or Photoshop and add it as a image source behind the chat.
