Emote denied for copyright restrictions

I recently uploaded an emote to BTTV, with express permissions from the copyright of the Twitch emote.

It was denied with the reason that it was infringing copyright of an existing twitch emote. I’m just wondering if that’s nothing that can be avoided, and you can’t upload any versions of twitch emotes at all, even with permission from the channel owner, who in this instance is the copyright owner.

Regards.

Make sure you supply appropriate justification/proof of permission to upload the emote from the owner. It will be assessed during the approval process.
