Disable XP Gain for Nightbot on YouTube Leaderboards

Currently, Nightbot earns XP and ranks on YouTube leaderboard systems just by sending automated messages. This often results in Nightbot being top 1 across many channels, which defeats the purpose of tracking real viewer engagement.

Please consider disabling XP gain or leaderboard participation for the Nightbot user globally, as it skews stats in every chat it’s active in.

Youtube says it can be disabled by:

  1. Go to Settings and select Privacy.
  2. In the Live Chat section, toggle off the leaderboard by selecting Turn off leaderboard participation.

Thanks for raising this concern. We’ve disabled that feature for the Nightbot YouTube account since it isn’t a real viewer of streams.
