Death counter help please

I’m trying to make a death counter.

I have the !deaths command to see how many times I’ve died

!commands add !deaths 0

However every time I use

!commands add !death+ -a=!commands -ul=mod edit !deaths $(channel) has died $(count) times.

It shows all of it instead of just increasing how many times I’ve died. What do I need to change to get it to do what I want
