I am involved with a podcast group called Diamond Club that includes various podcasts. For years they used a custom IRC bot and program to collect show title suggestions and picked the episode title at the end of the show using the list.

You simply create a command to add a suggestion. That suggestion gets added to a web page as a list, then people can vote their favorite suggestion to the top.
This was originally created for talk shows, so it’s great for IRL and Talk Show streamers, but can also be used for all sorts of things.
