Changing channels

so i ran across a problem i dont know if its twitch or bttv useless at this stuff.

so when im watching a channel for the 1st 5 minutes all is good i can switch between channels fine.

after 5 minutes if i for example am watching streamer A and i switch to streamer Bs channel ill go to streamer Bs chat but ill still see streamer A on screen.

if i refresh the page im signed out and have to resign in all the time but then 5 minutes later it will happen again.

any ideas?
