Using Chrome Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) unknown (64-bit) on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. When i check the console it says:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘authToken’ of undefined
at watcher.js:82
at a (raven.js:351)
when you check the extension, what version of it does it say you have installed? We have no issues reported that match yours right now.
It says 7.2.1 on the extensions panel.
I’m not sure what your issue could be. I just tested in a chrome 62 instance and it worked fine. You can’t see the settings in the top right drop down or the chat cogwheel?
Just to check, you did get BetterTTV from https://nightdev.com/betterttv/ or https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/better-ttv/ajopnjidmegmdimjlfnijceegpefgped correct?
It works now. I guess the problem was that I was not logged in to twitch and the ‘authToken’ error was related to that. I had used BTTV before when I was logged out, but I guess something has changed. Anyway, thanks for the help and I guess this topic can be closed now.
There are a few BetterTTV issues that have been reported when users arn’t logged into Twitch, sorry about that.
