I installed BTTV on Chrome, and it shows up in my list of extensions. However, it does not appear in any way when I’m on Twitch.com. Is there something I need to do to activcate it?
All of the BTTV settings can be found in the menu where you can find on the BTTV Logo in the sidebar or in the chat by clicking the gear.
The logo does not appear.
Have you tried disabling other addons and check if that fixes your problem. Some times ad-block and others can affect BTTV.
I’ve done the troubleshooting, the link there loads what appears to be a text document. Disabling other addons and clearing the cache does nothing.
You need to then check the JavaScript console for errors, which is also explained in the debugging post. If you can load the CDN link then everything should be functioning normally on our end, which points to a local issue.
EDIT: the version of this extension for Firefox works fine. The Chrome one, however, does not work, even when I use incognito mode with only BTTV and no other extensions enabled.
My bad, I missed that step. Do I run the JavaScript console on twitch.com?
