With the Localized display names users can set their display names to use characters from other languages (currently supporting Japanese, Korean and Chinese) see: https://blog.twitch.tv/localized-display-names-e00ee8d3250a#.h9hiskp5x
Twitch.tv with no bttv enabled shows the users name with the localized display name, e.g. Japanese characters, followed by the users actual username (English alphabet characters). BTTV, however, seems to be hiding the actual username. This means users with display names in Japanese/Korean/Chinese can’t have their names @'d since users cant see the original username and English keyboards dont have the characters to type in Japanese/Korean/Chinese.
Are you planning on making an option in BTTV setting to choose whether the original usernames are hidden/shown?
