BTTV Channel Emotes show in chat but not in chat overlay on OBS

I can see the emotes in the popout chat but for the chat overlay on my scene, the BTTV channel emotes dont show, they only show as words. BTTV global emotes show up fine on both the chat and the overlay, though.
