Banned words cant be said, but those i a sentence can

So i put banned words in the server. But people can say it in a sentence, but they cannot say them alone.
What is up with that?

Put asterisks on either side of the word when you add it to the banned words list like

*this*

That will stop the word from being used anywhere in a sentence
