So the past couple of weeks, I noticed that some of my moderators are allowed to use banned words despite me setting it so that only the channel owner (which is me) can use them. I unfortunately don’t have any logs since the last time this happened is too far back (specifically a week or so ago).
I do have a screenshot of my settings, though.
Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong here?
This is a limitation of the chat system on twitch/youtube, only channel owners have the ability to time out moderators (doing so removes their moderator abilities)
Nightbot is a moderator just like any other user in chat, he has access to the same capabilities as them. Moderators on twitch cannot timeout other moderators.
