I had to restore all of the settings on my Google Chrome, so i had to redo BetterTTV and everything but before I did I remember there being a setting I had on that made it to where every other message had a like gray background making the messages easier to see/read. I was wondering if this is just a fluke or if the option has been taken out completely

Open your BTTV Setting, go to the bottom, the setting is called “split chat”.
