Does anyone know if there is a new way an alias command is meant to be made instead of using the old $(alias) i want to make alias commands !sq for !songrequest and !vol for !volume. can anyone help me ?

Aliases have been changed from the previous version of Nightbot. Now you have to set the alias when creating the command, more info at https://docs.nightbot.tv/commands/commands. Alternatively, you can just use the ‘Alias’ field in the control panel when creating a new command.
We have now migrated all existing alias variables to the new alias format. If you’re still having issues let us know.
