Adding regulars to Nightbot on Youtube Streams

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this because I’m not entirely sure it’s a Nightbot issue.

When I add someone to the regulars list on a Youtube stream, they still can’t post any links… I have a feeling this may be Youtube just outright blocking links. However I have tried looking everywhere for a way to let users post links by default and then have Nightbot moderate, but I haven’t found anything at all…

Does anybody have a clue if this is a Youtube problem? and if it is, any ideas how to work around it?

YouTube blocks links from non-mods. This is not a toggle-able feature and is not something we can fix. You’d have to ask YouTube to make that a feature.
