I was set to manage a old channel of a friend, but we no longer contact each other and doesn't stream anymore. Yet it's still on my list to manage, and would like some assistance on removing this channel off my list if possible.

Yes, it's possible, contact NightDev here, and explain that you want to be removed as an editor of said channel.
