I'm trying to implement User Command Cooldowns with song request /t/user-command-cooldowns/1534589154120175616

This is as close as I've come to finding relevant code: https://api-docs.nightbot.tv/#add-new-queue-item

Simply imagine you had to create the !songrequest command manually in your chat.

You would type !addcom !songrequest

... and then what?

It would not be possible to implement a custom user command cooldown using that guide with built-in commands like song requests. You are able to set a cooldown on the command itself using the control panel already at https://nightbot.tv/commands/default, but it is a cooldown for all non-mods in chat.
