Use command to Add regular

I'm trying to use a command that processes some info, and then if the info is correct, add the user to the regular list. Thus far, i'm not having any luck adding someone to the regular list outside of explicitly typing the regulars command.

Is it possible at all to do this?

You'd have to write something that interacts with the Nightbot API: https://api-docs.nightbot.tv/#regulars

Yeah, i figured something like that would have to happen. Sadly, I am so rusty on my coding, i don't know where to begin to tie something in like that. (I have a vague idea, but not sure I'd want to attempt it for something so small)
