TwitchCast fails after Step 2/3

Hello, I’ve been having issues using TwitchCast for about the past 16 hours or so. Using either the integrated button on Twitch streams or on the TwitchCast site, I get to Step 2, choose the Chromecast which then turns the TV screen black, and then fails to continue to Step 3 or display anything on the TV. This issue is present on 2 PC’s and 2 Chromecasts on the same network.

PC 1 running on Chrome Version 40.0.2214.38 beta-m (64-bit)
PC 2 running on Chrome Version 39.0.2171.95 m

Same problem for me… Been very aggravating because I was so loving this amazing service! Tried clearing cache and uninstalling chrome etc. the normal. Seems to maybe be a server problem as it looks like theres no one on any servers. Any help would be awesome!
