TwitchCast chat connected but not showing up

First off I want to say that the twitchcast application is the best way I’ve found (after testing 3-4 apps and extensions) for casting twitch from my computer to my tv.

I just seem to have a problem getting the chat to show up on the stream, and I’ve tested with about 4-5 different streams so it doesn’t appear to be just a particular stream’s issue. Within where the chat would show up it says that it is connected and that I am in the stream’s chat lobby, but nothing shows up after that.

Technical details:

  • Mac running OSX 10.9.2
  • Chrome Version: 34.0.1847.131
  • Chromecast is up to date 5/10/14

I know it’s in Beta but if there’s anything that could help it’d be appreciated :smile:

Hey Goats,

I do believe currently with the issues going on with Twitch API and chat servers aswell the migration of the NightDev servers is the factor here. I will check with some other Support guys and maybe Night can give a confirmation of the current status. I will update once more info in available.
