$(steam) not recognizing games being played?

I’m using this command:

!commands add !nowplaying -ul=moderator $(steam $(1) "{{name}} is playing {{gameName}} - store.steampowered.com/app/{{gameId}}")

It used to work but recently it stopped recognizing if a game is being played. So when I play a game on Steam and use the command

!nowplaying danpcg

Nightbot responds with

Dan is playing [not playing a game] - Welcome to Steam[not playing a game]

It still gets my name right, but not gameName and gameId. Am I doing something wrong?

The $(steam) command is functioning as normal. Make sure that your account is not set to offline and that your entering the correct steam community ID.
