Nightbot recently became unable to play Spotify. To answer your second question, download a program named virtual audio cable. I use it, and it works exactly the way you want it to. Just make sure that your audio device is set correctly in OBS or whatever program you use.
In version 0.0.5 all known issues of spotify not working have been fixed. If you have found any new ones then they should be reported. Hopefully with reproducible steps.
I tried watching videos to figure out how to use the vac but none of them showed me how to set my youtube playlist output to the line
