[solved] I potentially found scam which uses a nightbot url

Hey Users,

A few days ago some users spammed a link into the Twitch Chat and today I looked into this link cause it got posted quite a few times. I was redirected to the Twitch-Api Service where an application was asking for every permission it could ask for. I denied that cause I didn’t know which application tried to get access to my account. After that i got forwarded to this site “nightbot-auth [dot] lima-city [dot] de” and to be honest, I don’t think that this is a valid link from NightDev.

I just want to verify with you guys that this is just a scam link, so I can inform the communities I’m part of.

It’s a scam, unfortunately there’s nothing we can do about it, all you can do is report it to twitch

Thanks for your reply. Knowing that it’s scam is good, so we can be careful about stuff like that. I’ll tell the communities about that and hopefully twitch can do something about it.
