[SOLVED] Custom api call within timer

Hello,
on my friend’s channel we are using a timer with a custom api that counts the number of followers ( $(customapi https://api.rtainc.co/twitch/followers/count?channel=channelname) ). The timer is set to 20 minutes and 5 lines. For some reason, it doesn’t seem to start, despite the fact that there were 5 lines spoken.

Also we’ve been using timer with the ‘tweet the stream’ link (10 minutes, 2 lines) but that doesn’t work either. Chat is active but the timers seem to either not work at all or work really unpredictably.

Is there something we’re doing wrong or are the timers not meant to be used with custom api calls and such?

Lines spoken only apply to the 5 minutes before a timer executes. In other words, if your timer is set for 20 minutes, then from :15 to :20 you must meet the line requirement.
