The remote server returned an error: (429) Too Many Requests.
I just started getting this error. It seems like it is limiting the rate that I can use the API to send messages. It just started, Any ideas? I searched and don’t see anyone else having the problem.
It would help if you specified what customapi you are using. Are you using a customapi? Or is this through the nightbot api? Need such info.
If you are using an api that has has ratelimits there isn’t much you can do or that nightbot can do. You can look for a different api or talk to the person who made it.

I haven’t seen any documented changes to the rate limit of this API. I could send messages via this method as fast and as many as we needed until about 24 hours ago.

The rate limit is 1 message per 5 seconds, which we think is more than reasonable.
