Hello! For some reason when I am tabbed and someone sends me something that would highlight my name I no longer get a sound notification. It only works if I get a whisper and it makes the ticking noise twice in a row in those cases. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also I forgot to mention that when I turn the highlight/whisper sound setting off the whispers only make one ticking noise.
BetterTTV does not emit sounds when you’re in the context of the page (since we then assume you’re watching the channel). When you’re alt-tabbed or browsing another tab in your browser, only then will BetterTTV make a sound on highlight. If this is not occurring, you may want to try clearing your cookies/cache (from the beginning of time).
