Nightbot won't timeout people using blacklist terms

I have set nightbot blacklist specifically with dogehype to be timed out and yet these bots in chat still are not affected and I have to manually stop them. I added a line for "dogehype" and "dogehype*" What am I doing wrong? Nightbot is in the channel, is a mod, and Blacklist words are enabled.

In the attached screenshot, the user 'imperceptiblemalfunctionw' is restricted, which means their messages are not visible to other users and therefore are not affected by the blacklist (just as Nightbot would not respond if a restricted user tries to use a command).
