Having the same problem. Not sure why but I can’t add the nightbot to mod either, it just goes grey and does nothing when I press enter.

Nightbot does not make a post into the channel’s chat when you join it. It silently joins. You can try a command like “!commands” to ensure the bot is working.

It sounds like you’re streaming on YouTube. Nightbot cannot join a YouTube live chat unless it is a mod.
