I use my Nightbot in a discord server quite regularly. However, I don’t stream on Twitch at all, so it doesn’t get used in there. A couple of days ago I noticed that all of my Custom Commands had been deleted. In fact, when I logged into Nightbot to see what was going on, it acted like I was starting a brand new account. It seems that the account isn’t linked to discord any more either. Is there any explanation for this?
We occasionally prune accounts to reduce database size and improve performance. Nightbot is a free service, so to keep it operational we need to prune inactive channels occasionally. This includes removing Nightbot from your channel and then eventually purging your data if it continues to not be utilized.
