When using Legacy Chat, often times in Speedrun.tv, Anon Chat works. What do I mean? I jump out of the viewer list and I can still see people speaking in the room.
However, when using new/non-legacy chat, things change. I can still jump out of the viewer list, and I am prevented from saying anything in the room, even accidentally, but I cannot see anyone speak. I know people are speaking in there.
…But, how did I even confirm this, rather than believe no one was really saying anything to begin with? …A viewer I frequently whisper, in the room in question, had told me people were speaking a lot in there.
This tells me that Anon Chat will blind me in non-legacy chat, but I can still hide on the rooftops and see things, looking inside, in Legacy Chat.
