Any chance you could add the option of allowing the song request system to use “enqueue” via spotify’s api for remote control instead of changing track, as it’s extremely buggy right now. By doing it this other way you would allow people using the webpage to use it aswell as long as they provide an api key for spotify?
There is no such API for Spotify available, sorry. The “API” we’re using now is an unofficial one that they don’t support, so it’s not stable nor perfect by any means.
I am nearly 100% sure there IS an api for remote control meant for use within apps on phones etc. So if you have your PC running spotify you can control it with app from phone.
That is native to Spotify’s app and is not something they’ve documented for others to use either.
