I do the "regulars add [username]"
and get an error
I also tried "regulars add [@username]"

On the website it asks me for the person I want 2 add's URL
I hope that's not what I need, there's no way for me to get that since clicking on a name doesn't (do anything) give me the option to go to their channel and get the URL

Hey @Brisk Duck!

It's a command, so it starts with an exclamation mark !, also make sure the command is enabled.

If you get an error, copy/paste it here, because we can't help if we don't know what the problem is.
Also, please take the time to read the error yourself.

@Brisk Duck True Enough! You need to add the person's channel's URL instead of @username.

Something like:

!regulars add https://www.youtube.com/channel/ABCDEFGHIJ

Basically, those letters, after the ...com/channel/ is the person's channel ID. It can get from $(userid) variable. Yes, you can't the channel just by clicking the usernames. Make the user trigger that variable, as you will get the channel ID and then you can add them as regulars.
