How do you change an emote GIF without having to delete it?

I want to update an emote I have previously made with a more cleaned up version. Is there a way to do so without deleting it and reuploading it? It would be the exact same emote but the edges would be smoother.

As of now, you have to delete the old one and upload the new one.
