I'm having to make the command call a variation of the same command, example !d calls the command !d $(user), so the command ends up being duplicated, I wanted only one to appear in the chat for simplicity.

Well with nightbot you should only ever have one response pers use of command unless your using a multi message API. So I have to assume you have multiple bots then? In which case disable the command on all but one of the bots.
