Hello guys, I have a doubt. How does the ‘repetitions’ filter work? I tried enable it - the default is 45% it says - and I thought Nightbot would delete messages like when people type “hi hi hi hi” or when they type random letters and press enter after each one… but it didn’t… maybe it’s buggy… I don’t know. Or should I try changing it from 45% to 20% or something like that? It’s on a Youtube Live chat…
The repetition filter only works within the current message being posted. For example, a message like “follow the yellow brick road follow the yellow brick road” would be a repetition. If a user posts multiple messages Nightbot will not filter across those messages.
